1. bbs:
   It's what led me down this path of networking darkness. I got into the field on 2400 baud, and it's helped shape my life since age 14 or so. Helped save me from a life as a hi-lo driver... but I do wonder if that would have been better sometimes.
2. checkpoint firewall-1:
   Day in. Day out. I've been working with FW-1 for eight years now, since v2.1b. I've laughed with it, cried with it, and cursed at it... but I can usually still get it to do whatever I want. Checkpoint used to call me and ask how I got features of theirs to actually work. It's still to the point that I need to talk to the developers in Israel just about every time I call support with a problem.
3. different points of view:
   I'm always interested in what other people have to say, no matter the message. It shows me different aspects of a situation, and allows me to further refine my own thoughts and opinions.

5. ids:
   Intrusion Detection System - Another aspect of what I do on a day to day basis, but less so. I'm well versed in the theory of IDS, but have very little practice in doing it or configuring the systems... but that's just butter to the bread of the concept, if you ask me. Different shell for the snail.
6. joat:
   Jack Of All Trades - I'm interested in a little bit of everything, and try to get into a little bit of everything... at least from a knowledge standpoint. One day I'll be all over sha-1, but the next day I'll be researching plans for building a hovercraft out of a leaf blower (which I'm still trying to find the time to actually build).
7. non-american culture:
   This is linked to the different points of view. Different cultures have distinct outlooks on life, and the world in general. Start to understand those, and you see the underlying similarities, and an understanding of the nature of society.
8. polish:
   That's me. I'm Polish. I have a last name with too few vowels, and my family's names on both sides are a study in how to utilize as many consonants in a row and still have something be pronouncable.
9. sluggy freelance:
   I'm hooked on the webcomic. Ain't it nifty?
10. tofu:
    Versatile, tasty, and quite interesting. I don't eat a ton of meat so I tend to get a lot of my protein through vegetable sources. I'm far from a vegetarian, I just like a lot of variety in my meals.
